Waiver Applicability
Programs which require the GMAT or GRE test scores may waive the requirement based on the following parameters:
MS in Accounting
Graduate Degree
Graduate degree from an accredited university
Overall UConn GPA
3.0+ Overall and Accounting major GPA
Non-UConn GPA
3.0+ Overall and Accounting major GPA from an AACSB-accredited institution; or
3.4+ Overall and Accounting major GPA from an accredited institution.
Relevant Work Experience
5+ Years
Professional Designations
Licensed CPA or Chartered Accountant
MS in Business Analytics and Project Management (MSBAPM)
Graduate Degree
S.J.D. MD, PharmD, or Ph.D. only; the degree must be from an accredited university.
Currently enrolled in a UConn program
- Dual degree program within the School of Business.
- Accelerated MSBAPM program (formerly 4+1 Analytics Track): Completion of two required courses with grades of B or better,
- Completion of the Advanced Business Certificate in Business Analytics, Project Management or Supply Chain Analytics
- Completion of 12 credits of non-degree MSBAPM courses.
Overall UConn GPA
Degree completed (all business majors, all engineering majors, the following majors: economics, statistics, mathematics, and applied and resource economics, and other STEM-designated programs) with a 3.0+ GPA.
Non-UConn GPA
Completed a business undergraduate or graduate degree from an AACSB-accredited university or a STEM-designated program from an accredited university with a 3.4+ GPA.
Relevant Work Experience
3+ years of relevant professional work experience post-graduation in addition to the following: a business degree from an AACSB-accredited university or a STEM-designated program from an accredited university in the United States, or a 3.4+ GPA from an accredited university.
MS in FinTech
Graduate Degree
S.J.D. MD, PharmD, or PhD only; degree must be from an accredited university located in the United States.
Overall UConn GPA
Degree completed (all business majors, all engineering majors and the following majors: economics, statistics, mathematics and applied and resource economics with a 3.0+ GPA or other STEM-designated program.
Non-UConn GPA
Completed undergraduate or graduate degree with 3.5+ GPA from an AACSB-accredited university or STEM-designated program in the United States.
Relevant Work Experience
3+ years of relevant work experience and graduate degree from an AACSB-accredited university or STEM-designated program in the United States.
