MBA: Advanced Standing Pathway

The MBA: Advanced Standing Pathway (MBA: ASP) at UConn offers graduates of UConn’s specialized programs – including JD, MD, Pharm.D., PhD (Biomedical Science), and Master’s degrees in Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, Financial and Enterprise Risk Management, Human Resource Management, and Business Analytics & Project Management – an accelerated path to earning an MBA by leveraging their prior graduate coursework, completing the degree in 33 credits rather than 42 credits. Eligible students can pursue the MBA: ASP through the Flex or Online MBA Programs.

MBA Summer Bridge Program

(For UConn Undergraduates Only - All Majors Welcome) The MBA Admissions team is thrilled to announce the launch of the UConn MBA Summer Bridge Program option starting summer 2026. The MBA Summer Bridge Program allows UConn Undergraduate students to move seamlessly from their completed Bachelor’s degree, into the MBA program, bypassing the typical professional work experience requirement. Join the MBA Admissions team to learn more about this exciting new opportunity to fast track your career goals and develop your professional skillsets.

Accounting

The MS in Accounting program at UConn is designed for professionals aiming to deepen their expertise in accounting and advance their careers. This 30-credit program offers a flexible, online learning environment, allowing students to balance work, life, and education effectively. The curriculum emphasizes advanced accounting concepts, ethical considerations, and practical applications, preparing graduates for leadership roles in the accounting profession. Students can complete the program at their own pace, with the option to finish in as few as eight months. Please note, this program is not able to offer visa sponsorship for students.

Business Analytics & Project Management

The MS in Business Analytics and Project Management (BAPM) program equips students with the skills to analyze complex data and lead projects effectively. This 37-credit STEM-designated program offers both full-time and part-time options, with classes available in Hartford and Stamford, Connecticut. The curriculum integrates analytics, project management, and leadership courses, preparing graduates for high-demand roles across various industries. International students are welcome, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Financial and Enterprise Risk Management

The MS in Financial and Enterprise Risk Management (FERM) program prepares students to identify, assess, and manage financial risks within organizations. This 36-credit STEM-designated program is offered exclusively in-person at UConn's Stamford campus, with both full-time and part-time options available. The curriculum covers quantitative finance, risk modeling, and regulatory frameworks, equipping graduates for careers in finance, healthcare, technology, and insurance. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible international students.
