The Executive MBA Program (EMBA) is where accomplished professionals and high-performing managers become high-impact leaders. Our 42-credit curriculum balances technical rigor, management theory, and practical applications to everyday business situations. Our EMBA program is in-person in Hartford, CT. A new cohort of students is admitted each Fall semester, and classes meet every other Saturday and two Fridays per semester. Our elite faculty foster learning, engaged collaboration, and networking, and students complete their MBA in 20 months. Please note, this program is not able to offer visa sponsorship for students.

Flex MBA

Virtual Information Sessions

The Flex MBA Program offers a flexible, self-paced hybrid learning experience designed to fit your unique schedule and career goals. With a blend of online and in-person classes, students can customize their coursework to balance work, life, and education. In-person sessions are available at our Hartford and Stamford campuses, providing opportunities for networking and collaboration. The program is open to domestic and international students who require visa sponsorship.

The Online MBA Program (OMBA) offers our top-ranked MBA academic experience, set in a fully virtual learning environment. Designed for individuals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, your engagement with peers and faculty are still high priority, even in the online space, and you get to choose between two tracks – the Cohort track and the Independent Learning track. The Online MBA provides students the opportunity to be a UConn Husky without geographic limitations! Please note, this program is not able to offer visa sponsorship for students.

MBA: Advanced Standing Pathway

Virtual Information Sessions

The MBA: Advanced Standing Pathway (MBA: ASP) at UConn offers graduates of UConn’s specialized programs – including JD, MD, Pharm.D., PhD (Biomedical Science), and Master’s degrees in Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, Financial and Enterprise Risk Management, Human Resource Management, and Business Analytics & Project Management – an accelerated path to earning an MBA by leveraging their prior graduate coursework, completing the degree in 33 credits rather than 42 credits. Eligible students can pursue the MBA: ASP through the Flex or Online MBA Programs

Students engage in rigorous coursework, comprehensive research training, and close collaboration with distinguished faculty. The curriculum requires between 37 and 49 credits, depending on the chosen concentration, with most coursework completed in the first two years. The program is located at the Storrs, Connecticut campus, and the average time to completion is five years. Applicants are evaluated on prior education, test scores, research interests, and motivation for scholarly research and teaching careers.
